It's deceptively simple to use, but this macro creator's performance is surprisingly robust. AutoMe's plain interface gives the impression there isn't much to this utility. The poorly translated Help file doesn't inspire confidence in the app, but advanced users will quickly find that the manual is superfluous. This is the type of tool they'll pick up in 5 minutes.

AutoMe refers to macros as Robots, but they're simple files written in plain English. Creating a Robot is as easy as pressing a button and letting the app record every mouse movement, keypress, and application display. This program's power is in editing Robots. The editing window is logical and friendly, with special pop-open windows for input tasks. The macro is displayed as a series of steps. Deleting or moving a step takes just a button press. Adding steps is easily accomplished with the Keypress, Mouse, Other, and Advanced input windows. Each input function set utilizes simple text boxes, function buttons, and pull-downs to ensure accurate command structure.

The program takes little memory overhead, includes advanced macro features, and performs well. The three-week trial is more than enough time to get a good feel for this program. Intermediate to advanced users will enjoy AutoMe's simple, flexible approach.

Records keystrokes and mouseclicks, really easy to edit the robots it creates in the txt files it makes, pretty cheap to use and free trial is useful. Easy to use, you will probably record and have it working within minutes.
Cons
No ability to run from a command line or compile as an .exe file, need to have autome installed and running in order to run macros.
Summary
Not a bad tool, simple and easy to use, pretty suitable for a beginner user, more advanced users should maybe try Perfect Automation which is more advanced and a bit trickier to use but it is free.

I just downloaded the trial version of AutoMe and it passed my first test: save my daily journal entry and copy it to three different USB drives, a tedious task now eliminated.
Cons
The no-tickee-no-shirtee pidgin English of the instructional material and help files will drive you crazy, specially if you are a writer, editor, English teacher, lawyer, actor or anyone familiar with the English language. You see it in the name of the product, which in English would be Automate Me, not AutoMe. The help file introduction begins with ?AutoMe is an intelligent automate system ? with AutoMe, you have a robot assist you to do all these repetitive work. AutoMe runs automatically without any intension from you.? Does intension mean intention? Can't they hire someone who writes clear English? There are better free programs.

This supplier took my money and when the software went wrong for no unknown reason I asked for my money back after reinstalling it on both Vista and XP Pro computers. I received absolutely no response whatsoever and have no recourse. absolutely pitiable piece of software. Mike from Switzerland.
