it plays the newest bluray that was released

the video freezes/skips every few seconds making it virtually unwatchable and the subtitles are stuck on.

It plays the storyboard sequence from the castle in the sky blu ray, and nothing else. It will not let me select the top menu or the film.

Pros
Been having a lot of trouble finding independent and free software that will play Blu-Ray discs - no configuration required, no additional sh** to download, with versions not working and so on .... (see for example VLC). This program does it and I'm so happy!

Very simple player.

Been having a lot of trouble finding independent and free software that will play Blu-Ray discs. This does it and I'm so happy!
Cons
There are a couple things I noticed trouble with. I put in an older DVD and the quality was far worse than when I view it with other players. On blu-ray disc, there was no title menu to go to, so you couldn't navigate naturally, but it DID go straight into the movie if that's all you're really there for. NO SUBTITLES OFF? I really don't want to watch a movie with subtitles, please make an OFF option available.

Really happy to have something that will play my blu ray discs for free. Seems like that dislikes are easy enough fixes.

Doesnt play latest BD, tried Turbo, didnt work. Tried Lorax, played but video was like watching movie frame by frame. Tried with PowerDVD, same movie-pc-player all normal.

Needs a lot of work in the performance part. Needs decoding db update, if they want to be truthful to their claim "Key features: Play any latest Blu-ray"... <-- this is a lie.
