View and edit tags of your music files in Windows Explorer.

AudioShell 2 is a Windows Explorer shell extension which allows you to view and edit ID3 meta-data tags directly in Windows Vista/7/8 Explorer. It has full native support for: mp3 (ID3v1, ID3v2.2, ID3v2.3 and ID3v2.4 tags), Windows Media wma, asf and wmv files, Apple iTunes aac (m4a) files including mp4, lossless m4a and protected m4p files, Ogg Vorbis/Flac/Speex (vorbis comments), MusePack mpc/mp+ (APEv1, APEv2 and ID3v1 tags), most popular lossless codecs including Monkey's Audio, Flac, Opus, Wav Pack, Optim Frog, True Audio, Apple lossless, Windows Media lossless, Wav, Aiff and DSF (Direct Stream Digital). AudioShell adds ID3 tag editor and files rename tools into Windows music files pop-up menu. AudioShell property shell handler add detailed music tags information into Windows Explorer columns and Preview pane, thumbnail handler add thumbnails with album art into Explorer. Adds context menu for audio files, works for renaming and editing tags, that's all I tested because that's all I want

Summary
Quick way to edit and rename audio files, that's all I used the 32 bit version for, and finally can now use Audioshell in 64 bit

Does what I need - Insert Title

Pros
I have not explored all the features. However, the extension in Win explorer to insert/change the song Title works like a charm. I have not tried the Group feature yet. After installing, I restarted Windows Explorer and navigated to an MP3 folder, listed in Details, sorted by Title. Then I right click on the ones I want to change the title and enter it under Audioshell Tag Editor. This is great. Now when I load them unto my iPad - they won't show up as Track01, Track 02, etc.

just in case, I followed the instructions as carefully as possible several times, I could not even reach the fist step to work as explained in the read.me guide, since nothing of the promised features showed up ever.

Simple to use. Just right click and select properties. Very handy to keep added info with any audio file.

Like to see a preview button, so I can hear a file when selected. Also a way to sort files by keyword

Tried unsuccessfully for ~2 hours to get this to install properly -- so that it actually "turns on". I'm a reasonably savvy home PC user, so this was no bone-headed fizzle. Something in this code is balking. Oh well.
