• Fraudulent purchase practices

  Shabby purchase tricks that stick a CD-ROM on for an additional $11 dollars, even though you think you've deselected it. So the price is a lie, the software actually costs you $36 dollars. Stay away from this, buy the products that have real prices. Blatant ripoff and fraud

• Unstable input levels

  Excellent level meters for each channel. Provides ability to select .wav, .mp3, and .oog formats. Ability to select different recording quality levels within each file format.

  Cons

  Unstable input levels. For example, when previewing an input signal, the level would peak at 50 to 55, but as soon as recording started, levels would drop to a peak of 25. Recording quality was degraded because of input level problem (and yes, I'm certain the problem was not in my line in device or cable). Could be a good program if this major bug is worked out.

  The scheduling arrangements were very clumsy. As this is what I wanted it for I was glad I had a trial version rather than having paid. I quickly removed it.

  The sound quality is pretty bad. <p>There is a 1-minute recording limit in trial version. <p>Need to enter filename before recording. I might miss some part of the recording due to this.
