This clock-syncing utility does what it promises, but it's one of the most limited we've seen. Unlike many other programs in this class, AtomTime98 only provides access to one atomic server; many dedicated syncing apps offer dozens. As such, the main window is a snap to understand, although it's also the epitome of bland. User-customization options are equally limited. The only truly useful feature we found was the ability to set the program to automatically sync your clock at regular intervals, though you're restricted to a few presets. An application this simple really should be free, but this one costs $10 after you use if for 30 days. AtomTime98 gets the job done in a bare-bones way, but many users will crave a more flexible, feature-rich clock utility.

Developer's Description

Synchronize your PC's clock with the atomic timeserver in Colorado.

AtomTime98 connects to the atomic timeserver in Boulder, Colorado, and fetches the current atomic time. It compares this to your PC's time and displays the difference. You then have the option of updating your PC to match the atomic value. A number of options help you automate the update process. AtomTime98 also features support for most proxy servers.

Version 2.2 features an updated internal timeservers list and automatically remembers the last working timeserver.
