Leaving aside the question of how often you see your desktop and why you'd need a clock on it, ClockWallpaper does its job. A Victorian combination of a rose and a clock counts seconds and minutes, and you can easily download and install other variants, such as Rolex, Kremlin, and Big Ben. The most valuable function of this program is the alarm clock. An alarm message can be displayed at a specified date and time, or at regular intervals (every Monday or throughout December, for example). ClockWallpaper has a small footprint and doesn't impact system performance. If you need a clock on your desktop and a pink rose sounds like a nice touch, ClockWallpaper is for you.
