• Very easy to use just like it's web form counterpart

  Pros

  I own aspxformsgen 4.0 and 4.5 pro. I downloaded this just to see how it works. It works 99.9% just like the the other products, so the learning curve to use it is zero. The UI generated code is a little different but the middle tier, data tier, and stored procs are very similar. The UI uses Models, Views, Controllers, and View Models. It generates a Web Application rather than a Web Site. Just like the Web Forms counterpart, once the web app is generated, you can run it right away and see the web app in action. Generated code has clean URLs just like the Friendlyurls in aspxformsgen 4.5. Views with grids are very, very responsive, it looks faster than web forms.

  Cons

  I'm not an MVC programmer. I noticed that MVC is a lot harder to understand. No code behind, instead it uses controllers. Properties are separated in the models folder. The web forms are now called views, but in a more html-like code, master pages are now layout pages, etc. Everything seems to be separated in they own little folders. No gridview control, so it's using jqgrid jquery plugin instead. I'm not sure how sessions are being handled here.
