  Easy to use and simple interface. The support staff is easy to work with and has cleaned every computer that I have had problems with.

  Cons

  None that I can think of.

  Summary

  If you are looking for a simple Application to protect your computer from the newest wave of Trojans and if you want to get rid of your clunky Antivirus software and get something that really works. Get AppRanger. It makes the rest of those programs cry.

  Pros

  Cleans what the others can't, don't, and won't. Very easy to use and friendly interface make it a charm to use. Cleaned virus and protected me from infections that would have whiped out my critical data and important files. Love it!

  Cons

  Haven't found any yet. It has cleaned everything that Trend Micro & Symantec has missed. It has even found items that AVG & McAfee missed as well. I use these tools all day long for tons of clients. I recommend it over everyone. Remove the others

  Pros

  In less than 5 minutes emoved WinAntiVirus that was driving me crazy. Geeksquad was recommending that I rebuild the computer. AppRanger saved me a lot of money.

  Cons

  None so far. If all goes well for another week, I will buy it.

  Summary

  My computer got infected from a Google search link. After cleaning the WinAntiVirus, I ran the same search on google again! Clicked on the link and AppRanger blocked that site from infecting my laptop. Excellent! I think this feature of AppRanger will be a life savor for many people. I am amazed that AppRanger is just 4 MB. I got rid of Norton and now I have AppRanger + AVG. My laptop is running fast as hell. I recommend this setup to everyone.

  Pros

  Cleans better than any other anti-malware, but definitions are lagging. Solid protection for the web browser. A must for preventing infections while web surfing.

  Cons

  While it cleans better than any other product, you have to know what you are doing to clean the infected PC. Great for those who know what they are doing. Blocked an installer for me and took some effort to find that AppRanger did it.

  Summary

  This was one software took some getting used to. I really like it now! THe most impressive thing was when AppRanger detected and blocked exploit from a "Fake Google" site. Our ISP's DNS was hacked and Google would point to the hacker site. Once I found it, the ISP was notified and plenty of people got saved from those hackers.

  Pros

  Our hospital got hit yesterday. We had to scan 1200 computers and managed to clean everything using AppRanger.

  Cons

  The management tool could be a bit better.

  Summary

  I had a rough day and I absolutely shudder to think how my day would have turned out without AppRanger. What really stands out is that scans are fast and that was a key factor in fixing the problem quickly for us.

• Best tool for removing virus and spyware

  Pros

  Fast and small. The download, install, and scan took less than 10 min. And with i managed to get rid of the horrible winantivirus.

  Cons

  Not much. I had a little trouble with installing flash player after I installed AppRanger. Not sure if AppRanger was the cause.

  Summary

  It is a very good product and it works. Cleans without requiring a purchase. Worked better than any other product in cleaning my infected laptop.

  Pros

  I Bumped into this while trying to clean my machine of spywares. It cleaned it up really well. Now I can keep track of my teenage daughters web activity. It has really good web resports. It also keeps her secure while she is online.

  Cons

  I would like more feedback when appranger blocks something.

  Summary

  Bottom line is - this is the only product that could clean my machine and in just one reboot. I now have peace of mind with my daughters online surfing. I can also control which sites she can visit using password protection. I highly recommend it.

  Extremely easy to use, Great reports, Wonderful Graphs for charting usage, and a whole lot more.

  Cons

  None that I have found up to this point. I would like a pop-up blocker with reporting added in to the interface. Maybe add some other utilities like the ability to capture screen shots automatically at a timed interval or manuall.

  Summary

  I have used all of the rest and noen can do what this product has done for me. I am a Computer technician that works on hundreds of computers a week. Cleaning up manually what other software can't. Try this product and you will see what I mean.
