Appchkr constantly checks, promptly alerts and periodically reports on all types of networked hardware and software devices. Alerts immediately on down or up (selectable) and provides valuable snapshot and summary reports for status and performance tracking. Accurate logging and additional options provide useful diagnostics to help restore operation promptly and prevent business disruption. Checks on external sites too, such as an externally hosted website. Alerting by e-mail or text to your phone-- find out what's happening even while you're out of the office. Very lightweight on its host machine, on your network and target systems, and on your time. Web interface option for remote control of the app, and log and report reviewing, by smart phone or tablet. GUI and command line control with or without the web interface option. Designed and intended to leave you alone while it does its job. It can run for months silently in the background, without fuss or attention, simply alerting you immediately to downtime on any one of the targets you have listed, and leaving you alone otherwise. Think of it as an uptime utility. For those wanting more interaction the reports are provided in real-time, and directly exportable to common spreadsheet software for further manipulation.
