  Pros

  Easy UI. Supports sequences of operations, for example, shrink and move several partitions and expand one with no adjacent space. It will work all changes and boot as many times as needed to complete. Worked Very Well in my WS 2008 machine.

  Cons

  Worried about a comment posted here mentioning a trojan horse in the code. Further investigation may be needed to confirm or discredit that comment.

  It is really more powerful than I thought, and its functions are amazing, especially it has Windows to go creator function, can create a bootable USB drive and allow me to boot Windows 8 from the USB drive.

  It simplifies the process of partitioning disks on Windows built-in Disk Management, and it costs me no more than a hundred dollar and really worth of that!

  I have been looking for software which may help me in data back up and hard disk partition for a long time. I found this one&#38;#8212;AOMEI Partition Assistant is so interesting when I watched a tutorial on YouTube. I found that the software is so powerful, and when I used its free version, I purchased its paid version. It's beyond my imagination when I get familiar with the software. It also can do operations like convert NTFS to FAT32, which is complex on Windows built-in disk management. Or move OS to SSD, etc. I like its functions as well as its simple interface.

  After the comparison and the test, I think I have no idea but to buy this product. The low space sytem dive made me mad but the window 2008 can not help me realize change size at all. oh, my god, I googled for the solution and found partition assistant, fortunately, it left me deep impression for its fresh interface simple operating method even for the reasonable price.

  Summary

  I have been getting messages that I was running out of disk space on my Windows 2003 Server. My C drive had a capacity of only 15G, while my D drive was in excess of 150G. In that I'm not particularly savvy regarding current software...... I tried everything I could find for the past couple of months to resolve the problem....PartitionMagic ... Diskpart.....advice...etc. with no success. Finally, I happened on to your web site. I downloaded your software and with practically no effort at all, I was able to expand my C drive. It did hang up my computer half way through the operation; however, I rebooted and everything was great. Thank you.

  Summary

  I running server os and I need to extend my system partition for a long time, and I believe cnet has many partitioning utilities, I have compared them certainly I saw the previous users' review but how shame I can only afford the partition assistant. So, I have download the Demo to take a test, very simple to use. From the simple install wizard to extend my system partition wizard, always gave me surprise. The user interface is easy to understand and pretty straight forward. If I say this is the godsend, you also can trust me. If only there is people developed it server users can take the boring problems far away. This product worked great, just as I expected.

• Lost Partition and Data With This Software

  Pros

  Easy to understand interface. Price was fair at less than $100 for the Server Edition. Great idea for repairing the small primary partitions commonly found on Dell servers.

  Cons

  Poor technical support. They have no phone support at all. I tried to find a number and couldn't. They do offer email support. I emailed their tech support at 6:21 this morning, and its now 9 hours later and still not one reply.

  Summary

  I should state that using the Extend Partition Wizard, I was able to extend my primary partion from 12GB to 20GB easily. It's just that it unformatted my D: drive in the process. Thank goodness for backups. If you are going to use this, be sure to do a full backup prior to running this program. Our backup was a couple of days old, so we're having to do some backtracking, but it wasn't as painful as I originally thought it would be. The software actually looks decent, and as I was using it, it appeared as though it was doing it's job. It wasn't until I hit the Finished button that I noticed my partition was wiped clean and unformatted. Had I been able to get a little technical support, perhaps I wouldn't be so down on this piece of software. Bottom line, until these guys offer phone support, I'd suggest going with a software vendor that DOES offer phone support. It's my fault for not checking first, so I'm just throwing it out there so you don't make the same mistake I did.
