• Recovers files, but cannot be unattended

  Pros

  It does recover most deleted files.

  Cons

  You must constantly click file overwrite confirmations, even if you select "Yes to All" the program continues to ask and will stop until you click. It is also very slow during recovery. Program price is very high for the low quality interface and very limited advanced options. There isn't even a button to pause or stop a file recovery process.

  Summary

  Finds and recovers most deleted files but the interface is very bad and there are very few options you can choose.

  * Easy to use * Evaluation software allows you to preview the files, so you have the choice to buy the product only if you want to and are sure that it can recover your lost file.

  Cons

  *Just the price *Works well for JPG and MPG files, don't know about others

  Summary

  good product that came in handy when I lost my friends daughter's first birthday pictures!

• Win Undelete recovered all 175Gig of my deleted files!

  easy to use interface with step by step instructions.

  Cons

  I cannot complain about a program that restored every file that I foolishly deleted!

  Summary

  Accidentally deleted 175 Gig of files using photo shop editor which obviously bypassed my recycle bin. This product recovered every single file and the original tree structure! I downloaded several others in an attempt to recover the same files... Not one of the others could recover even half of the files that Win Undelete did!

  Summary

  I intentionally deleted files I had backed up elsewhere, and then ran the scan. The program did not find them. I ran a scan on an older drive and found thousands of files. However, regardless of the condition listed, the program was unable to recover a single file

  The UI is very easy to use. Warnings in all the right places.

  Cons

  Didn't preserve the hidden file attribute, but did recover the hidden files.

  Summary

  It saved my you know what! Worked flawlessly and was very fast.

  I like nothing!

  Cons

  The Demo claimed to find my file, and assured me it was completely recoverable. After buying the license the program then said it could not be recovered... cost me time, money and aggravation. Customer service is a non issue with them!

  The trial version of the software does not actually undelete your files - it tells you to save the files off into a special recovery file so that you have a safe copy of them in case you buy the software. <p>There is, however, a catch. When you save your files to a backup file, WinUndelete permanently deletes the files from your hard drive, leaving you to have to register in order to get your files back. <p>Let me make this clear - AFTER YOU RUN WINUNDELETE AND SAVE TO A RECOVERY FILE, NEITHER WINUNDELETE NOR ANY OTHER SOFTWARE CAN GET YOUR FILES BACK UNLESS YOU PAY THE $50 RANSOM!

• Great Product

  Pros

  It was a great tool that enabled me to restore files that were accidentally deleted. the evaluation copy was pointless because it only let you see the files that had been deleted, but once you purchase the product, you are able to recover anything.

  Cons

  Some data comes over in poor condition. Also, you cannot select an entier folder structure to recover, you must go through each file that you need to recover. It was alot more time consuming than any backup/recovery device i have used.
