  Didn't find even a single duplicate out of 80000 emails, company won't refund or even acknowlege emails sent

  Summary

  Purchased this program because the trial version was limited. Ran it, waited patiently and it didn't find a single duplicate in a HUGE inbox, (a competitor later found 50K duplicates out of 80K). Company won't refund the money, acknowledge any of the FOUR emails I sent. I doubt this is a real company, offering a REAl product. Don't waste your time.

  Pros

  Easy to use; fast, and accurate. It removed over 5,000 duplicate appointments in just a few minutes.

  Cons

  Not perfect; I still had to remove some duplicate calendar entries by hand for some reason.

  Summary

  A huge time saver overall. Well worth the price.

  Pros

  Pro: quick & seems to find most but not all dupes.

  Cons

  Cons: 1) a lack of user options - good for newbies, but I like to have some say over what a program does with my data, 2) what's with the constant registration?, 3) Why do I get nervous when obvious dupes are missed? Can it be trusted?

  Pros

  It worked well on inbox folder email duplicates, as they were moved to the deleted folder. I did not test any other features.

  Cons

  email registration required. Due to possible re-registration issues that were mentioned previously, I uninstalled the software after using it.

  Anti-Dupe tells you this: "Anti-Dupe for Microsoft Outlook is currently unregistered. Registration of Anti-Dupe is free, but is required in order to activate the product. Please click on the register button within the Anti-Dupe application and follow the on-screen instructions." <p> <p>I did, several times, but could never get an activation code.

  Pros

  I love the way it deletes the duplicates especially the calendar from my palm.

  Cons

  They make me register over and over every few times i use it, i have to register or it won't work. I registered when I first got it and I've only had it about 3 wks, but i have had to register,(with the same number) 6 or 7 times. <p> <p>I wish i had more options. it should do more email accounts at once.

  Pros

  It placed all of the deleted duplicates in the Deleted Items folder, so I could spot check (sanity check), and choose to fully delete them all at my leisure.<p>You choose specific folders, which is great. <p>I had a huge duplicate problem. I nix'd about 1000 dupllicates, and it was easy and free.

  Cons

  It might be nice to have an option to simply go through all subfolders of the personal folder. (I didn't see this option.)

• Anti-Dupe destroyed all the pointers between contacts and distribution lists

  Pros

  The software successfully found and deleted duplicate contacts

  Cons

  The software paid no attention to the database pointers. Every distribution list was corrupted. Every link between contacts was corrupted. The Outlook 2007 (Vista) data file was corrupted and needs to be constantly checked.<p>I do not recommend the software for Vista Outlook 2007 users and believe that users using distribution lists or contact links should avoid the software.

  Deleting duplicate tasks worked exactly as advertised. Free. Fast installation. Runs only when you need to use it.

  Requires e-mail registration (not a big deal.)<p>No real customization options.
