AllMediaServer for Windows

User Reviews

• Not fully available in English.

  Pros

  Found my DLNA Blue-ray player.

  Cons

Couldn't access or send data to my DLNA device because crucial menus were not in English. (Also, I didn't feel like experimenting by selection menu options to see-what-they-did.)

  Summary

Until all the text in the program is translated, this software can't really work well for English-only speaking users.

• frustratingly inconsistent-sometimes works, often not

  Pros

when works, able to watch video from PC on large TV

  Cons

often does not work and there seems to be no troubleshooting to try fix or make more reliable

  Summary

seems to be a complicated method for what should be a simple procedure. hopefully samsung will improve it on the SmartTV side.

  Pros

I just got my smart Tv (Phillips)--and could not find any servers which worked when connecting to Tv---exept AllMediaServer. But then its nice to watch Ur-Avi files, pics and listen to Ur music on Ur telli-- It has nice choreography-and is after a while easy to work with

  Cons

Sad it seems to be unable to work with text files. When working -some places it goes to Polish language.

  Summary

Seems there is not many DLNA servers around--so this is, as I see it--The best choice
