Great tool, fabulous customer service support

Pros
I had about 10 e-mail exchanges with Josh, a helpdesk employee who really held my hand through the whole process and gave excellent advice to help me sort out my IT issues. As someone who is really not computer-literate, his explanations were extremely helpful.
Cons
Though the customer service was excellent, the program frequently froze on my mac computer. Seems to operate much better on PCs.
Summary
I wanted to migrate from Thunderbird to Outlook and purchased Aid4Mail to help with the migration. After a few initial speedbumps, I made the migration and managed to save all of my e-mails that I was certain I was going to lose. Thank you Aid4Mail!

Most important, this is not demo, you will really get all your email converted It is making file for each one e-mail, which can be easily imported to outlook
Cons
The file name is each time like this 00010a427e48ebcc2e20842294074fe1, so if you just need find some file from old mbox, you will need to convert it and put indexing with contents of the file
Summary
If you need just convert huge mbox file to outlook it is simple best thing, because its working for 100% and its free

Very detailed import / translation tool, it really does not get any better than this!

None ... ok ... one con: It's not free ;-) Read the manual to make sure you understand the options and command line switches if you are a geek!
Summary
The Microsoft provided import tool is a real embarrassment ... I found it incorrectly imported most of my e-mail. HTML emails and emails with embedded images were totally unreadable and the images were lost in most cases. I ran a free trial with Aid4Mail and it worked VERY VERY well, so I purchased a license, and the import executed properly on my Eudora installation of almost 100,000 emails. The conversion tool is very detailed and through. It did take a fairly long time to run as my mail folders were large, but I was more than willing to wait given the high caliber of the output!

This software works! It does what it promises, and the Tech Support is excellent. I wish I'd known about it 3 weeks earlier, which would have saved me hours of time and many headaches. I am so grateful that Aid4Mail was able to convert my Outlook Express files to PST, which enabled me to get them into Outlook 2013.
Cons
If you have McAfee Antivirus, you may want to turn it off while running the conversion. Things may have gone a bit more smoothly if I knew how to work all the new

Are you like me? One of the holdouts who kept Windows XP on their computer because it worked well without any problems? And continued to use Outlook Express for the same reason? Well thanks to Microsoft's cut-off of support to that operating system, I was forced to get a new computer. So I went with the "latest and greatest" . . . the Windows 8.1 operating system, Office Home and Business 2013, which includes Outlook 2013. A Microsoft machine to another Microsoft machine, so should be easy to transfer everything over, right? WRONG!!!! And nobody tells you about that before getting Outlook 2013, rather than looking to find the 2010 version, which does apparently transfer those files easily. So let me tell you this: MICROSOFT OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6 AND MICROSOFT OUTLOOK 2013 are in NO WAY compatible! And after DAYS upon DAYS and HOURS upon HOURS of struggling to create PST files, or find some other way to transfer the files, on the phone much of that time and transferred from person to person at Dell, Microsoft and Comcast Tech Support, nothing was changing that fact. None of us could transfer the DBX files of Outlook Express to the PST files needed for Outlook 2013. And then there was Aid4Mail, which promised to convert those troublesome DBX files to PST, and ALSO keep the folder and file structure intact. At this point, I was desperate to try anything, and was now willing to pay for a solution if one were available. I have over 7000 emails, and almost 2000 contacts in my contact list. Programs such as Windows Live Mail could import the files, but not keep the folder structure. With that many emails, that's as bad as not importing any because I couldn't find anything without them being ordered. And then there was Aid4Mail! I have to say I had some difficulty with it, and perhaps the McAfee Antivirus that came with this machine was interfering. But Julian, the Tech Support guru at Fookes Software, was knowledgeable, diligent and persistent in helping to transfer my files to PST. While they are based in Switzerland and I'm on the East Coast of the U.S., he stayed up longer hours to reply to my emails when I was having difficulty with the program. But he assured me that the software could do the job, and he was right. I now have all my emails from my old machine on my new machine, in their complete order, with what appears all folders working. I'm able to save new mail into the old folders. And though I struggled almost a month to get this to work, without Aid4Mail and Julian, I'd still be frantic and trying. The software is a download that comes with a free trial, so you can check to see if it will work first. It is an email migration program that will migrate other email programs as well, not only Outlook Express files. Then you have a choice to buy the license for a year, or take a one-time license that's good for 2 weeks. I wish I'd known earlier that there was no way to transfer those DBX files into PST files, and that Aid4Mail existed. I could have saved myself so much time and aggravation. This software is surely worth the money.

My wife has a home-based business, with years of Thunderbird emails. Her XP desktop finally wouldn't boot, so I bought a new system which included Outlook 2013. I connected her old hard drive to a USB adaptor, and then bought Aid4Mail. It transferred all of her emails in maybe 15 minutes, and preserved the date received, and folders. Its well worth the money, and its a great feeling to have all of those emails back on her new computer.

Incredible number of supported email formats. Great tech support. Help section very good. Cranks through message conversion at an impressive rate. Price is such a good deal -- USD$30 for a one year subscription. Would you pay $30 for solve a tough problem and avoid a massive headache?
Cons
There were a couple of very minor glitches that I found in the version I have, that were specific to conversion from Eudora index files. But technical support was very responsive and they had a fix to me within a day.
Summary
In the beginning you naively think that email conversion/migration ought to be a simple matter of using the export/import facilities of your email client software. Wrong! It really *should* be that way, but it's not. I bought v3.41 (personal edition), struggling with various other free and paid tools, and I wish I had found Aid4Mail first. The variety of email clients and mail formats supported is very impressive. Email conversion *not* an easy problem, but these guys have cracked it. I have 15 years of Eudora 7.1 email, and sadly no future for this product any more (been putting this off for years). I used to feel that I was trapped because all of the other conversion utilities made such a mess. But now I have some choices. The conversion to Outlook and Mac Mail went was dead-on accurate.
Well worth the cost! Great program and support!

Very easy to use, and gives multiple options for output. Works with almost all the major email programs. I was also impressed by the support team. They answered all my questions and were very helpful. They offer a free trial, check it out and then buy the version right for your needs. The program is really impressive and can work for individuals and archivists alike!

None that I could see, and I did extensive testing with this product.

I finally decided that it is time to say good bye to my beloved Eudora Email client. I realized that being a laggard it might not be easy to migrate my many mailboxes that are very important to me from a PC to a MAC. After a lot of research I came across Aid4Mail, read the excellent manual and contacted them with additional questions. I got very clear and helpful answers very quickly and was reassured that the application will convert my Emails to MBOX files that can be imported into Apple's mail. I tested the software which was very easy to run and then did the migration. All my Emails were migrated while my folder structure was preserved. The dates, and all of the header info were preserved and all attachments were kept with their respective messages. Messages were marked unread which helped me compare the message count from Eudora with the message count (available for unread messages) in MAC Mail. Julian from Fookes Software's Help Desk even recommended using a free application for migrating my Eudora address book. I could not be more pleased with what I got for the money. I highly recommend the application and the company for their excellent support.
Saved 15 years of of my email history!!

Whew! I was moving from Eudora on an XP machine to Outlook on a Mac. I tried all sorts of workarounds (e.g. Thunderbird as a pass through) and nothing worked. I'd been on Eudora since 1993, so my life history was in there. Found Fookes software, paid the fee, and voila, it worked smoothly the first time. Kept my original email dates, my folder structure, everything. I've been on the Mac for a month now, and find nothing that was overlooked.Fantastic!!
Cons
I had none. For someone who needed to move emails once, smoothly and easily, without needing a background in Computer administration, this was perfect.

S/W does not support 64bits Outlook, License is RENTAL!

It works well for small E-mails data size. When you have more than 2Gb - it can't handle it.
Cons
Software license is RENTAL ! A Year after purchase - the program will stopped. You don't buy a license like other software.
