We get the feeling AGuardDog Web Protection made it only halfway through obedience school. Though it blocked most ordinary pop-ups, it failed to stop floating ads. It also blocked some desirable pop-ups, such as ones you launch by clicking a link. The program can notify you of blocked pop-ups by blinking its system-tray icon or playing a sound. However, the default barking notification is very annoying, so we recommend you turn it off. AGuardDog Web Protection provides features for blocking spyware and cleaning up your browsing history. There's also a boss-key option. Pressing Alt spacebar instantly hides all Internet Explorer windows, and the program doesn't take up much system memory. AGuardDog Web Protection isn't a bad little pooch, but you might look for a more dependable breed to stand watch over your Web browsing.
