This narrowly focused program keeps your PC's clock extremely exact, although this same functionality is integrated into other, more full-featured time utilities. In our tests, Advanced Time Synchonizer always synced our system clock quickly and accurately. Still we do appreciate some of the program's other features, including hot-key support, the ability to automatically synchronize your computer clock on a regular basis, and audio notification. System administrators will appreciate the ability to turn a network computer into a timeserver. The program's interface is certainly no work of art, but it is fairly easy to use after a bit of studying. Because it contains more features than a lot of dedicated time-sync programs, we can be a bit more enthusiastic about Advanced Time Synchonizer than we might otherwise be. However, power users will probably still want a more versatile piece of software.

Developer's Description

Keep your PC clock synchronized with the most exact Internet timeservers.
Advanced Time Synchronizer is a PC-clock synchronizer working with timeservers via the Internet, supporting three time-synchronization protocols, proxy servers, and autodialing. It connects to all the servers on the list one by one until either the time is successfully synchronized or the list has been exhausted. Advanced Time Synchronizer can update the system time at certain intervals from one second to few months. If you use a proxy server, you can configure Advanced Time Synchronizer to work through an HTTP, SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, or SOCKS5 proxy server. It adds support for time protocols to the computer on which it's running so you can use it as a local time server for your LAN.
