It does a very good job of keeping the cookie jar empty

- Kills cookies upon detection. You can set it to allow certain cookies only. You can set it to check for cookies upon start up and end. No slow running machine due to cookies.

- I like it and will keep it updated on my PC. I had a virus and it was bugger to get rid of so this helps identifies anything trying to write to your hard drive. Great tool.
No service- Embedded Paypal Cookie!!

- There is a Paypal Cookie embedded in this program. Even after deletion it re-appears every time I open my browser. I have the same problem on two different computers. I contacted Paypal and they have never heard of such a problem. Repeated attempts and I mean repeated, to contact the service dept for this program have received no response! <p>If you want to buy a prgram offered by a company that provides no service to registered users and has a mysterious cookie embedded in the program buy this one, otherwise there are probably better choices.

Ad Smasher automatically stops pop-up ads and all other Internet annoyances. It stops animated Flash ads, third-party activity (pages that pull special ads or send information to other Web sites), timer ads (full-page ads that sleep for 10 to 15 seconds, then take you to what you clicked on), Web bugs, messenger-service ads, and most floating ads. Ad Smasher also is a cookie manager with unique stealth, freeze, and smart-allow options. Its other features include the ability to erase Internet traces when closing your last browser, password protection on Internet Explorer, and the ability to block offending material with a Web-content filter.
