  None. Don't risk your business with ActivTrak

  False sense of security. Software randomly stops working when Windows updates occur.

  Summary

  We shipped new laptops with ActivTrak pre-installed by us to several of our employees. After a few months, each laptop stopped responding as Microsoft rolled out software updates that caused ActivTrak to stop working. Now we cannot gain access to any of our laptops without requesting our employees to send their laptops back into us, which would be highly suspicious. ActivTrak denies that the Windows updates have caused this, however we have proof that it did. Tech support has been slow to respond and they have been completely dismissive. We are seeking legal counsel. Be warned! Do not use this company and their unreliable software.

  Unreliable Deplorable Customer Service

  Summary

  The free online version was so helpful that we decided to pay for the extra storage. Since then the software failed at which point we contacted customer service. It's been two weeks and they continually disregard our concerns. We've also requested to speak with a supervisor - a week ago - with no success. Stick to the free version.

• Exactly what I was looking for

  Pros

  I was searching for a software that was simple, easy to understand and use but would still give me detailed information and screenshots of computer usage. I was so shocked when I started using the Free Version of ActivTrak because it only took a minute to install and set up. I just upgraded to the Paid Version so that I can get more detailed results based on specific things that I am looking for and it works excellent!

  Lack of Mobile Version but it's on their high priority list and they are working on it

  Pros

  Ran into a snag because I messed up on registration, tech support fixed it. It's free for up to 3 reports! Software is easy to use and doesn't have technical download requirements.

  Cons

  None! They did what we wanted them to do.

  Summary

  Recommended for people who don't want to be too invasive. My manager hesitated because he doesn't like the idea of being the Big Brother guy. This is minimal data that tells you how much time is spent in each program.
