From the developer: Adds a new button to your "Compose Email" screen, giving quick access to 12 useful new things you can do with emails you send; including:- Full Email Tracking: reliably find out when your email gets opened; how long it gets read for; where the reader is physically located; whether or not it gets printed out, forwarded, or published online; What URLs or web-links were clicked on; How many times it was was re-opened, and more -- Certified Proof of posting, delivery, and opening - Court admissible, Time-Stamped (Notarized), Verifiable, digitally signed email certificates -- Self-Destructing email, automatically self-deletes according to the time you select (default=60 seconds after they open it). Protection that blocks printing, mark/copy/paste, print-screen, saving, and forwarding etc is also included! -- Retractable email, lets you delete an email - even after you have sent it! -- Secure, password-protected email. I'm baffled by some of the negative comments. I have subscribed to this program for over 3 months and it has let me down only once - their technical support replied within the hour and I fixed the problem there and then (it was my fault). Â£2 odd a month - brilliant.

The service is completely unreliable! It works only a small percentage of the time. It doesn't track accurately like it claims to. You'll get tons of junk mail too. Be warned. Stay away from this!

I am a ReadNotify subscriber and it's definitely the best read-receipt/tracking email service around. When you first install ActiveTracker it will instantly provide you with a free 2 week trial to this service (without any signup process). I have used this plugin and tried another one on beta release from the developer's website and I have uninstalled both after a few days. ActiveTracker was unpredictable on my PC - sometimes it was there when I opened Outlook Express, at other times it was nowhere to be seen. Sometimes it sent my emails, other times not. There are no configurable settings on the plugin itself - if you click on settings you will be taken to the website. What you're really after when you download this plugin is a service that will track your sent emails. Using the Readnotify service does this on its own without this plugin. You only have to add '.readnotify.com' unto the end of your recipient's email address to instantly start using the service - do it now (without downloading or signing up for anything) and that's day one of your trial and you'll receive a welcome email. Basically, this plugin really only provides an 'autotype' function - it adds a button to Outlook Express that saves you having to type '.readnotify.com'- or a few other variations for self-destructing mails and insured/certified mails - which are superfluous really unless you are a power user or need to produce certifiable email receipts to your boss on a regular basis. The '.readnotify.com' extension is enough to provide you with a wealth of tracking information. In my experience, typing readnotify.com sends mail a lot quicker and is definitely more reliable than using this plugin. If like me, your addressbook has less than forty names in it, I would recommend you simply take half an hour of your time to open your addressbook and just add '.readnotify.com' to the email addresses of those recipients you want to track (your recipients won't see this). That way you can use this service quickly and 'unconsciously' without the need for this plugin - which is quite useless in my opinion.

The only e-mail tracker I could find! ReadNotify is easy to use and has lots of other features with a clear & complete manual. It is amazing to see all the information it provides to the sender of e-mail (incl time of receiving, the time spent on reading the mail, location, IP-adres, browser and much more) The "location" in the e-mail tracking history seems to be not working properly (with ...% likelihood, but still bad). Be aware; the trial users have full access to all ReadNotify facilities, ONLY for 25 emails, or 14 days (whichever comes first)!!

This is a good program to know every thing about the mails we send,to know when(date), where(the city and the country) and at what time it is opened.It is very secure, never fails.Besides it has many other features that makes it not only the best but the only one in the market.
