Don't bother, it can no longer be activated after trial

Looks good, but didn't bother with using it since it cant be activated beyond the 15 day trial.
Cons
Support for this software was ended in November 2012, once the 15 day trial expires, you can not activate it.

Pros
Used this before it was free - restored my entire system after a crash AND I didn't have to worry about finding program or windows disks for my new hard drive - it had backed up all my programs, all my data, all my settings - everything!
Cons
The big download didn't bother me.

Pros
Very simple to use, even for a novice like me. Wizards were very helpful.
Cons
Took longer to backup than expected, but since this is the first time we've used something like this, we have nothing to compare it to. A normal defrag takes forever.
Summary
After my daughter lost EVERYTHING on her laptop, we knew we had to start backing up our computer. We're so glad we found AIP and that it was so simple to install. Glad we took the leap.

Very fast. Hot image backup of Windows, useful wizards, disk copy cloning, Restore image to a new bare-metal machine.
Cons
Big download but that is mostly the Linux restore console. Have to upgrade to paid version for Windows PE, network features and P2V

Great full-featured data backup and disaster recovery tool for Windows XP, Vista and 7 home machines. Backs up the OS, applications, settings and data. I liked the speed and tons of features including wizards, schedulers, disk cloning, password protection, system throttling and live backup of Windows VSS-aware apps. Provides full disaster recovery and you can mount a backup to access individual files and folders. You can also select an image from a previous point in time. Most of the download is a Linux console which would help recover a backup to a brand new machine but takes a long time to download and boot.
