Manage your state-provided food, healthcare, and financial benefits with the Your Texas Benefits app for Android. The app lets users view and manage benefits provided through Texas Health and Human Services.
Check your benefits: The app lets you check and manage your benefits on your Android phone, including your SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) food benefits; health services you receive through Texas programs, including Medicaid and CHIP (Children's Health Insurance Program); and TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) cash assistance.
Manage your account: Send photos and submit files to the department. Set up alerts for benefits. Report changes in your case and status. And view the status of your benefits.
Easy to set up: Enter your name and birthdate to link the app to your account. You can choose how to identify yourself, including using your social security number or case number. Once setup is complete, you can change your password and update your address and phone number from within the app.
Submitting files and taking photos can be tricky: Some users report trouble uploading files or taking photos with the app.
Your Texas Benefits app lets you view your Health and Human Services benefits, check the status of benefits, and make changes to your account. Although some users report problems submitting files, the app helpfully lets you handle much of what you'd otherwise need to do with a phone call or an office visit.
This update makes it easier to enter dates and include fixes for minor issues.
