• Enough to get started

  Pros

  You can use video, audio, images and prerecorded videos on your live stream. You can put a lot of those materials in the "palette" so you can quickly choose between different media sources. You can also update facebook and tweeter status from within the application. Does 16:9 and 4:3 formats. Runs on pretty much anything, at least Windows XP and up.

  Cons

  You can only use one source of live video. Image file types are limited (I've only used .jpg), prerecorded video file types are also limited to .wmv or .mpeg and they don't have individual controls, meaning once you click on the video to start it, there is no way to make it start from the beginning, even if you click another source and come back to the video, it will just continue where it had left off. There is no support for titles like in the web version (if it still does that), and no support for chroma keying, those are features of the newer Pro versions.

  Summary

  I don't remember anymore why I use this version, but there were features that were useful, but newer versions didn't offer them at the time, so I stuck with the first version released. Maybe I liked the PiP options in this one better, and also, this one won't show you options that are available only on the paid versions, so that's nice.

  it is not worth downloading on vista because i keep getting this error when it shows the log in screen i roll over it with my mouse and it stops working.

  It's an awsome program to introduce users to a studio style interface

  You can't fully control the playback of the media.

  Summary

  You cant try it out and see for yourself that it's a good program to learn from then upgrade to Pro
