Very slow response from remote machine (inside local network). <p>You can by "Remote Administrator" for the 1/6 of Timbuktu's price and it will do the job much better.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I haven't the slightest understanding as to why Netopia has kept this ancient GUI for their application (TB2) in windows. I mean, its just horrid to look at- why isn't it more like the Mac version? Why do I need to visit a menu item to specially select the option to scan IPs for TB2 clients? Why do I need to log into SSH using the command line method then authenticate yet again once a reply is received from the remote computer? Why isn't this actual SSH command being incorporated in the first login with PW- why isn't it all being bookmarked? Do I need to launch the application twice once to get it to the tray and another to use the horrid interface (clicking the tray item) Seems unintuitive. Will it ever be up to par with Mac version?
