What a great piece of software for subtitle editing

Pros
Excellent GUI that shows everything clearly, and is easy to follow.
Has features and function like adjusting all times fractionally with just a couple clicks, either manually or visually.
Saves a lot of time getting it right without wasting re-rendering time.
Cons
For my simple needs I haven't found anything that gets in the way of getting to a result.

Great for converting sub/idx to srt.

Pros
Easy to use. I especially like that when it encounters a questionable word/character, you can see text before and after so that you can determine *in context* what it can't figure out. I also like that it shows you the graphical sub/idx instead of just giving you a plain text "guess". Overall I'm very happy with it.
Cons
None that I can find. While it may not be 100% accurate, it has at least a strong 98% or 99% accuracy rate.

Works like a charm

Pros
Very nice utility that sure beats using Notepad to edit the time lines. Sorts out the mistakes related to overlapping subs and too long subs.
Cons
Although it is more an improvement issue than a Con, it would be a lot more useful if, when switching between the List view and the Source view, the subtitles would sync. Now they don't. If you are in List View and want to edit a subtitle towards the end, when you switch to the Source view to edit it, the Source view will be wherever you were last in Source View, which may be at the beginning. It will not automatically go to the same line in the list View
Summary
Although I only used it for one movie because the sync was off and the translation was horrible, I found it to be a very useful utility that does what it says it will and very nicely. The bonus? It's free!
theres no competition

Pros
love it, used it for months.its not complicated. can sync subtitles to your videos.main reason i wanted it.done in seconds. can edit lines if u wanted. has a preview video with your subtitles to se how it works. i merged to subs into 1 video.its free. convert subs into other languages etc.
Cons
worked only with my vlc player. to use, open sub edit, go to options, video player and select vlc player for default player. works great. Vlc player is great anyway. besides that, no problems
