  We have been using this product for about 5 years to support 1500+ mostly computer-shy customers across the US and Canada. It has been so easy to use for them and for us.

  It is rare for me to comment on software so it must be bad! Before installing the software I contacted the company as it was not clear to me what I needed to do to use it "unregistered" so I can support my friends. They replied that I had to generate a new client each and every time I wanted to connect with someone. I told them that it was an inefficient way to work and they simply replied that if I register the product that I could create a permanent client. Registration cost $349 .... so I guess it's not free. I am writing back to them now as their website says that the version on cnet is supposed to be a free one. Although this product is half the cost of TeamViewer, I will continue to use TeamViewer since at least their free version does work without doing handstands.

  Enough is enough, when are the creators of software going to realize that free is free. When I create software for free, it is free (no games, no spyware, no lies) absolutely free. I hate every on CNET that promotes their software being free when it is not. Please I beg all of you stop saying your software is free when it isn?t, and start being an honest contributor to CNET, Please!!!

  I have been looking for something like this for a long time. I can now remotely support NEW customers over the internet with relative ease. This program is fantastic and is much better than the others. It has already paid for itself, time again.

  Cons

  Could have advertised on the radio, then I wouldn't have wasted so much time and money on the other stuff that's out there. Now i OWN my remote support business.

  Summary

  Bottom Line..: The program works, the support you get is fantastic and it has enabled me to take my IT business to the next level. There are many "services" out there that allow remote support, but this software is something I can OWN and it works better then even the BIG players out there. The connections are fast, and my customers have said that they really like how easy it is for them. I have never written a review on this website before, but this program was just too good to go unrecognized. I have a small setup issue during my install, and the company "held my hand" and walked me through it step by step. That kind of support is hard to find these days. You wouldn't be sorry if you were looking for a remote support tool and chose these guys. That's the bottom line.

  Very cost effective - a once-off purchase with a lifetime license. Prompt responses to support requests, and above all, the product is so easy to use, and gives us minimal technical problems.

  This is really great software, I don't know what the other guy is talking about. It does what it says it does, and it has SO MANY FEATURES. I went to their forum and asked a question and got a response within 30 seconds. It's just as fast as Remote Desktop and works behind firewalls, what more could you want. They have close to a thousand members on their forum, and all of them seem very happy with the software. I'm going to use it for my business and don't regret my choice at all.

  Still thinking if there is something good about this software.

  Too slow compared with other softwares I tried (Even MSN Messenger 8.0 has a remote assistance function for free and is faster!). Also, RSS has too many bugs. Mouse dissappear, tries to reconnect after ending a session... Even if this was freeware I wouldn't use it anymore, I'm sorry to say!.

  Pros

  Professial looks, easy of use, reliability, and best of all fantastic user support. I have been using this software for several months, and AFTER using it for so long I was compelled to write this review. I love this program. It has more than paid for itself since my initial purchase. Development is very active, and they actually listen to their users on their support forum. With every release it keeps getting better and better. WOW!
