  Easy to use, easy to set. I guess 40,000 people know what they're doing. I use it every day and I'll never go back to the radio or the buzzer

  Notec Describes is all. No Tech nical abilities to write an easy piece of software to wake you up. Wouldnt even run after install. Running WinXPSP2 build 5.1.2600

  This little application does exactly what it says it is going to do. It waits for a time then plays a music file. Yes, you do have to pick the music file when the program first starts, but so what? You can change that music file anytime you want. It also installed and worked fine in ALL of its features on my WinXP Pro with all service packs installed.

  You'd be smart to stop here, and type in Alarm Clock 1.0 here on download.com. This works o.k. but before you do anything you have to use it to open an MP3 (that you will be using as the alarm). Everything else is ok, but if you're using XP don't hit the Setup key. It says it has encountered a runtime error and will close. So It functions as stated, and it does work, but you have no setup options (in XP) may be different for other Win versions. Alarm Clock 1.0 does the same thing with a very stable program that won't crash everytime you try to adjust it! So, I give it a C-. (I still use it, but I use Alarm clock 1.0 more).

  I dont understand the problems one other user mentioned. We found the alarm easy to set up, functioning flawlessly, and very creative.

  I installed this program, but could not get it to run. I kept getting the error message "Component 'Comdlg32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid".

  it really is a delight wakeing up each morning to music. I have had no troubles with the program. I also have always had a problem with my computer clock being slow a few minutes every month or so. This program updates your clock to the atomic clock so you always have the right time. I would definatly suggest getting this program

  As many people know, notec wakeup has been the most popular wakeup program out there for about 2 years now. The new version is even better that the prior ones, I know people disagree with me on that one. Having an internal media player is a huge advantage over older versions and of other programs. I dont know what that other guy is talking about, it works great, try it and see yourself.
