Pros
I needed (well, "wanted") to run Microsoft's Photo Gallery editor. I still use it for a changing some photos because it's so quick and easy. Unfortunately, it lost support. Thanks to CNET, I was able to get it running.
Cons
So far, there's no "cons". I haven't had an issue.
