Converts from FLAC to mp3. Just what I wanted.

No option for VBR (variable bitrate) conversion in mp3. Add that and this would be the perfect program.
Summary
I needed a Mac program to convert from FLAC to mp3, and I wanted it to be simple. This app does the trick. You can direct it to put the converted files into the same directory, or the directory of your choice, in the Preferences. You can also specify what bitrate you want the mp3 to come out as. The drag-n-drop window is great. I run this on a 7-year-old Mac Pro tower, and it still converts really quickly. I've had no problems, and highly recommend it.

Clicking on the "Download Now" button underneath the program heading (not the "Free Download" button on the ad for TuneUpMyMac at the right of the screen, very sneaky, that!) resulted in a quick download of the MediaHuman Audio Converter freeware to my Downloads folder. I drag and dropped the downloaded file to my Applications folder, double clicked to open the program, and was ready to start converting! The entire rest of the process was simple drag and drop functionality - I dragged my WMAs into the MediaHuman Audio Converter window, selected the type of file I wanted them converted to from an easily understood drop menu, then clicked the convert button. Once all the files were converted, I selected "Open Output Folder" from the command bar "File" drop down menu, then dragged and dropped the newly converted MP3 files straight from that location into an open iTunes window. I am now enjoying all my music again! --- Running OS X 10.9.5 on a 2014 Air

I definitely recommend this freeware. If you're moving from Windows to Mac and, like me, didn't think to convert your WMAs to MP3s or other iTunes compatible formats before you moved all your files and got rid of the PC, then this program is exactly what you need to keep enjoying all your music!

I thought I was downloading an Audio Converter program. What downloaded was a Mac Cleanup utilities program. Check the terms of service before you download. There were several Other boxes checked off, accepting that you agree to allow Yahoo to be used as your default application for everything.

The conversion app was never downloaded. Instead another program of utilities downloaded.

Works quickly, clean and intuitive interface, does everything it's supposed to. At first I was bugged that all the converted music was dropped into one folder, but being able to just drag one folder to iTunes is really efficient. Definitely download this.

If you want your converted files cleaned up into different folders, you might be looking at a little bit of work.

Very easy to use; best converter I have found so far. Converted an entire album in .Flac format to Mp3 in a little under two minutes. Files were easy to find once converted. Very simple design, easy to navigate.

Hd trouble for converting some files from HD TRACKS into AAC 256, from within iTunes 9 out of 12 would convert but the other 3 repeatedly failed. Did this with the MediaHuman converter, and it worked first time.
