DiscBlaze is a fast and easy to use CD and DVD burning software with a number of unique features.

Burn data CD's and DVD's.
Burn Audio CD's (from any Quicktime compatible files with audio tracks).
Burn multiple sessions to the same CD (including mixed Audio/Data CD's)
Discs list system for managing your commonly burned discs.
Burn an existing .ISO, .DMG or .CDR disc image file.
Create a new .ISO, .DMG or .CDR disc image file.
Make an ISO or DMG image of an existing folder or volume
Burn discs that can be read on Macs, PCs or both (including true custom hybrids).
Burns CDs/DVDs in the UDF format.
Erase re-writable media (such as CDRW discs) for re-use.
Easily burn multiple copies of the same disc.

Pros
Content filtering is up to date. Custom URL Filtering is available. Usage/Activity Reporting is available. Most importantly as a hard working parent, it is FREE.
Cons
No cons. It is perfect and compatible on Windows XP.
Summary
When I first used it, I found it very useful, easy and intuitive. Perfect for content filtering websites on the kids and guest computer. I don't have to worry so much about the kids accidentally getting on those porn/bad related sites. As an IT Manager and as a parent of two toddlers, I would highly recommend Live Family Safety. 10 out of 10 rating...I'd give it a full 100.

The company is out of business and not reachable. Don't give them your money. Doesn't run under Leopard.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. WARNING: This Company Is Dead! Do Not Purchase this Software! Over three weeks ago I bought this hunk a junk. I had problems running it on my new Intel Mac Mini and wrote the support. No one answered. I wrote again after 15 days. Still no answer. It seems like they were happy to take my money but then they don't care. I found the following by searching for the developer, Bryan Lund: "We discovered the dark secret of all those shiny fancy Macs out there. A good portion of the Mac enthusiast that use them are really rude. Really, really rude. We had no idea the kind of mean hurtful things the readers...would say to us" This is probably due to the huge amount of criticism that Lund took on his blog some time ago (from what I've read) by customers who were dissatisfied with his products and wanted some kind of resolution to unending problems. Apparently Lund took those comments as personal attacks on himself. Here's further news by blogger Phill Ryu: "As you...screw your RadicalBreeze customers as well (the people who so generously enabled a half-assed developer to quit his day job and do quite well for years), you frame the entire thing in your favor and send out PRESS RELEASES ..." Again this apparently describes Lund's actions at the Macworld SF gathering in January of 2006 when he announced the "imminent" release of obvious vaporware "Formation II." I only wish I'd found out about this stuff *before* I bought this road apple disguised as a Mac app.
I prefer ShadowBurn over DiscBlaze

DiscBlaze does not correctly list the total size of the files in the status bar making it difficult to determine if the files will fit on a disc. I also get way to many coasters when using DiscBlaze. I have found that ShadowBurn is much more reliable and now use ShadowBurn. BTW: I am a registered user of DiscBlaze and ShadowBurn and not affiliated with either developer.

The 6 realise and the up-graded versions are a very simple and intuitive program to burn high-quality disks.

I did not read any instruction because the layout is foolproof. The results are VERY good; I have a powerful CD player on my silent car: I think that the quality depends on the media: CDs burned with diskblaze have a very good quality.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. Quite like DB, its pretty reliable only had one CD not work (& I think the CD was the problem). My only gripe is the Icons always revert to the standard size, every time I change the icons to the "Use Small Size" it forgets when I next launch DB. Not having the option to use a small icon used to grate on me pre Version 6, now this is doubly annoying because the option is there but it resets itself.

The program has been bulletproof for me and the only problem I've had is a couple of very small display snafus. I will be one of the first in line to pay for the upgrade. The company does a wonderful job supporting their stuff. This program really rocks!
