Needs to be done only once: On Windows 7 and Vista if you have User Account Control enabled, you need to right click on the app icon and select "Run As Administrator". That will help the Ez OFF to start it's services.

Great program if it would work.

Pros
Does everything i want it to do. Dream program IF they would send me my password. I paid 30 USD for this, Im still waiting for it. Its been a month now.

Dont buy, waste of money since they wont send a password. Too bad since its the only programe out there that does exactly what I want it to do.

Pros
None. Installed OK, but had no effect on Internet browsing.
Cons
Also, it's a possible virus. Specifically: on uninstalling this program, Win7 volunteered to delete the file "\Windows\systm32.exe" as not having any program referring to it any more (sorry, don't have the exact words.) If that file - with a name like that (a bad variation on the special file "system32.exe" - came from THIS program, the file is surely a virus/trojan, and this program should be avoided like the plague!

It took over my computer to a frightening extent. It started up automatically and ran in the backround, doing it's job (fortunately in my case I hadn't asked it to do anything yet). I couldn't open it, however I tried. I couldn't delete it because it was running. I couldn't stop it running because it wasn't to be found on my taskbar. I tried opening taskmanager, but EZ timer didn't let me, saying I needed to uncheck that option in Ez timer, which I couldn't do because I couldn't open it. Ccleaner proved uneffective here as well, both in deleting it and in stopping it at start-up. Luckily for me, I have a brother who is a phd student in programming so he talked me through getting rid of it, but it was a fairly complicated thing to do.
Summary
Maybe it was just doing its job, but it is a programme that you cannot control once you've got it. AVOID. AVOID AVOID.

It blocks Internet, e-mail, messengers and will keep them blocked for as long as you schedule it. Separate shcedulers are awesome. My child cannot by-pass it as he did with previous ones!

None. And I hope there will be not any.
Summary
Really perfect program for me because my son gets on the internet the minute he gets home and it is interfering with his school work. I like the feature that you can block Internet browsers, chat programs, emails separately. It's very convenient to use. I also set Ez Internet Timer to turn off Skype and ISQ while my son does his homework.

Really good software for parents. This is the perfect program for me because my daughter gets on the internet the minute she gets home and it is interfering with her school work. But now with just a couples of clicks I can block all online activity.

Very easy to use. Great support ( I like online direct support feature). I can control email, browsing time separately (6 different timers). Ability to customize filters. Works on VIsta and XP 64 bit edition

Holy cow! This program is great! I especially liked how I can make a custom message saying "your comp. will turn off in 5 minutes", or something like that.

If you just want to allow internet access during certain hours, this works fine.
Cons
With an "always on" internet connection like cable modem, the program begins counting internet time from the moment you log on to windows. I wanted to allow computer usage without it counting against internet time, but this product couldn't do it.
