  In a Nutshell, Anyone even a child or a tech Ignorant Person can write Bengali in a Personal computer. If you are thinking of installing a software in your PC for writing Bengali, don't think twice, Avro Ketboard is your no.1 choice. personally I have been using it for 5 years. trust me.

  Pros

  This is the best software I had ever use for Bangla Typing with Phonetic Options. Heartiest Thanks for the developer.

  Cons

  During typing complex document (eg Technical Document) where lot of English Words are used in middle of Bangla words, the user must frequently switch over between Bangla and English layout. But it could be solved by giving an option to choose. for example: when using phonetic after typing "IT" the options are ??, ??, ????. But if another option in Roman Alphabet "IT" could be included, then a lot of switch over could be avoided and a comfortable typing could be achieved for some complex documentation.

  The keyboard enables to type all possible Bengali Scripts by Transliteration.

  Cons

  All Bengali words can be typed only by referring to the User Manual because the Keyboard is NOT USER FRIENDLY for writing Certain Bengali Alphabets.

  Summary

  I downloaded the Software version 4.5.1 on 22nd November 2012 and it appeared to be EXCELLANT one while I tried to type ENGLISH(UK) to BENGALI(INDIA) by referring to the User Manual available with the Software which I got Printed. It is too early to write a meaningful REVIEW at this juncture and I propose do it after a few days, if asked for by you. Many many Thanks for providing the Facility.
