• Recommended app for Instagram pics backup

  I will give a thumbs-up for 4k Stogram and would recommend it to those who are looking to create a backup of their Instagram pics.

  Summary

  I gifted a photo collage to my childhood buddies Sam and Ema on their 25th wedding anniversary! What could have been a more personalized gift than a framed photo collage which reflected the most valuable moments of their life- their dating days, beach wedding, honeymoon, first anniversary, the birth of their twins Joe and Michelle, and moments that they really cherished and preserved! Downloading photos from Instagram has never been that easy. I used 4k Stogram to download photos from Sam and Ema's accounts to my PC and believe me, I could do that in just a few seconds and for free. I created the soft copy of the photo collage within 2 hours- I made sure to be creative to the maximum extent! Of course, I did not miss a childhood pic that captured the three of us in our Halloween costumes. I will give a thumbs-up for 4k Stogram and would recommend it to those who are looking to create a backup of their Instagram pics.

  - Can download photos from people you follow who are otherwise private.

  Cons

  - No longer works. It does not log in.

  Summary

  It no longer works... AGAIN! And only 24 hours after their latest release! It is a very decent program when it works. PROS: - Can download photos from people you follow who are otherwise private. - Pretty simple to use - copy/paste the name and it will start the download. CONS: - No longer works. It does not log in. - When it did work, it only downloaded some of the photos. Downloads would break and it would finish prematurely, so you would only get 3/4 of the photos or you would have to try again. - Unable to do parallel downloads. Well, you CAN, but it will never download them and stop prematurely. - You are forced to "remove" users from the program because if there are too many, it will crash. - Terrible job updating the software and making sure that it will stay up to date. - Typical installation BS that you find in Freeware programs (no I do not want to download Chrome again, no I do not want to download safesurf, no no no!) So it would be good if it would actually work, first of all, and when it does work, if it would DOWNLOAD ALL PHOTOS, and not corrupt 3/4 of the way through, thus only giving you the option to start over and over again until it finally completes what it originally intended to do. Please, developer, this is a decent program when it works. Please fix it. :(
