Though this space-travel-themed screensaver boasts eye-pleasing images and a nice set of features, the demo could be more robust. 365 Space Shuttle Screen Saver features high-quality shots of spacecraft, such as the Discovery and the Atlantis; other shots take you inside the cockpit or on spacewalks. Unfortunately, this demo only displays 10 images for a single week. And while it also burdens you with the occasional nag screen, we didn't find them overly oppressive. We can't really gripe about the generous feature set, which lets you set the image interval, change the background color, choose transition effects, randomize pictures, determine caption placement, set a sticky note, or enable a snow effect. The one feature we missed was a built-in soundtrack or the ability to use our own MP3s as an audio accompaniment. While it's not perfect, budding astronauts and science buffs can try this screensaver without fear.
