• Easy to use, but includes advert in screensavers.

  the interface is well organised into a step by step operation with halp available at every step. There are plenty of options for customising the screensaver installer with your own branding and license. Generated installers look very professional.

  Cons

  This program does not embed a flash player into the generated screensaver but assumes the user has installed a flash player compatible with your swf. The generated screensavers include an advert for GlobFX making it less useful as a self promo tool.

  This tool is almost perfect. The only flaw is that it does in fact have an ad, but I feel that it is worth it. If you are making a personal screensaver, especially to be available for download online, this tool is right for you. The ad actually looks pretty good, as far as ads go. Busisness's should look for a paid solution.

  This is great software, and I defy anyone to say it's hard to navigate, or has a poor feature set. However, there's no indication in the product description that it inserts a "Swiff Saver" banner into all output screensavers. This is not freeware, but in fact adware.

  A few years ago I worked long and hard on my first Flash animation with the idea of turning it into a screen saver afterward. After finishing it, however, I had no means of taking that movie and turning it into a screen saver. So, I let the file sit on my hard drive for a year. This program, however, lets me do EXACTLY what I wanted to do, which is package the movie into a neat little .exe file and customize all the settings. Plus, it's free! Thank you very much! High recommended!

  I had no problem with it, of course if you don't now the basics of how an installation works. Seems to me ticklefingers didn't even take 5 minutes to walk throught the whole wizard to create the screensaver file. I found it really easy. One downside however. After creating the screensaver there is still a banner of the manufacturere at the bottom of the screen. You have to register and pay a fee to have it removed. So actually it's not free. But it's the best featured and most comprehensive screensaver creator I found so far. So go ahead and try it. I'm sure you'll manage without to much hassle.
