  Summary

  I downloaded and tried all data recovery programs I could find on cnet. This is the 2nd best free program i could find. 1st was diskgetor imo because it has preview. However, I use both atm because in order to make sure if one program fails to recover some data partially I still recover data with the 2nd to have most success. When i checked the programs most were slow and the biggest criteria they did not meet was they did not find the data which was very hard to find, I was searching for. These two are very very fast and did the job!!

  Pros

  No results to report on. It didn't do any damage.

  Cons

  The program would not allow me to run it. After examining the readme file, it only work on files 64KB or smalller. Not useful for many commonly used files by current operating systems.

  Summary

  Unable to properly test.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Mar 30, 2011<p/>Admittedly, my own lack of experience with this program made testing it unproductive. I reconfigured the compressed files and got it launched and it seems to work as described by the publisher. All be it a bit slow. The initial estimate for scanning a thumb drive, was ten minutes, later it gave a guess of more than four hours. As for the file size limitation... no results to report on.
