Publisher's Description
From maczentrisch.de:
shootShifter helps to redate and rename complete folders of images based on the EXIF-data or finder-dates.
With the preview-timeline its quite easy to synchronize several folders that were taken with differing camera-dates.
What's new in this version:
- [fix] fixed ugly timezone-bug in the "Transfer EXIF-tag changes to existing XMP-data"-option: in some situations it was possible that the timezone for the XMP-dates was "off" by 1 hour (daylight saving time was not always accounted for correctly)
- [fix] improved smooth-scrolling/scrolling with inertia in the timeline-view for users with trackpads or Magic Mouse or the like

"Works as it should"
Version: shootShifter 2.5.1
Pros
straight forward usage
changed the dates of my pictures as supposedCons
selection of correct date only via offset. Time/date-picker might have been more usable when date is off several years.
didn't test it very much so don't have much else to saySummary
just needed it to change the dates of some pictures and that was done within a minute.

"Didn't save; no help to get folders back to Finder"
Version: shootShifter 2.5.1
Pros
Looks good but if it doesn't work..oh well
Cons
No help on how to manage folders once the changes have been made IF the changes could be made
Summary
It seems pretty straight forward until it fails and then there is no where to go.
