iHotKey is written for one purpose: Activating functions by a single HotKey. Such a function can be as easy as starting Mail or Safari, or as complex as running a Time Machine backup and shut down, moving the front most window to another screen (if you have more then one), activate the login screen (without logging out) before you walk away from your computer and many other tasks.
