This small but effective utility instantly displays your Windows XP CD key. You won't need to install XP CD Key Extractor, just run it and a tiny interface immediately displays the complete product key. A single option lets you send the key to the clipboard so it can be pasted into another application and printed for future reference. Most programs in the category require registration before the product key is fully revealed, making this a great bargain for users who need to reinstall their XP operating system. You won't find a help file, but one isn't really necessary for such a basic program. Cons: Too fast; couldn't watch it working. :-)
