From UltraBootCD :UltraBootCD included with Universal Panasonic Japanese USB DOS driver which allows user to transfer files from hard disk to USB devices (Flash drive or USB hard disk) or vise versa. UltraBootCD allows technician to transfer or take image of there valuable data from FAT, FAT32, NTFS or Linux (even from corrupt or lost) partitions before formatting or making any changes to hard drive.
Now with SATA CDROM Driver, more DOS and Windows utilities and bootable USB flash disk drive creation with UltraBootCD utilities. We have done lots of improvements in menu program. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

Pros: powerful set of tools and ability to run off CD or USB.
Cons: interface is dos-based
Summary: Had a laptop that would boot in an infinite BSOD and I wanted to extract data. I burned the iso file and booted up. The program boot menu reminded me of the windows xp boot menu screen. I was able to enable USB and NTFS usability right off the bat. ... read more >>
