It's simple to use, but this tool simply fails to improve your system's speed. SpeedItUp Extreme's dialog-sized multitabbed interface is made up of easily selected and quickly implemented check boxes and buttons. The promised Help file is little more than useless promotional material.

The program's primary functions either promise to speed up your system or clean Internet tracks. The speed options implement Windows Optimization, RAM Booster, or HardDisk Speedup. Check a box and press a button to start the optimization process. SpeedItUp Extreme usually freed RAM on our test machines. However, we noticed most systems actually responded slower after using the other two optimizers.

We were better satisfied by the Internet Clean Up options, which quickly cleaned cookies, cache, and history files. Unfortunately, they only operated on Internet Explorer. An advanced option promised to automatically speed up the computer when the system isn't busy, but it never implemented during our tests. SpeedItUp Extreme doesn't live up to its name. Skip it and find a better tool to improve system speed.

First of all there are safer ways to speed up your pc. For internet speed up, i recommend google web accelerator, great free software if your a gamer, and als oincrease you total paging files on your pc.

Just dont use it it ruins your processor. All this program and many others like it do is they spped up your pc but you pc wont last as many years.

When you go to speed up your hard drive it changes your system configuration.It <p>then gets stuck .after that you can not shut down the program.not even threw the task manager.You have to just pull the plug.After rebooting it tells your system that win32 is invalid.so there for you must reprogram your computer.IT SUCKS I LOST 250MB and had to rate it a one instead of zero

FIRST I LIKE THE FACT THAT IT/S FREE. I LIVE ON A FIXED INCOME AND AS SUCH COULDN'T AFFORD TO BY SUCH A PRODUCT. <p>I WAS JUST GIVEN AN OLD LAPTOP AND I ADDED A NEW HARD DRIVE AND RAM. SPEEDITUP TOOK THAT NEW HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE AND HAS MADE MY COMPUTER WORK LIKE A CHAMP ALMOST AS GOOD AS IF I HAD BOUGHT A NEW ONE . IF THERE IS ANYOTHER PRODUCT THAT YOU CAN RECOMEND TO HELP ME PLEASEDO SO. <p>I ONLY HAVE A PENTIUM 11 300MGHZ (I TOLD YOU IT WAS OLD)160GB. DRIVE AND 512MGS. OF RAM. It freed me up 100 MB of ram, which is it's best feature. Only other pro was that it brought me +5 fps and it increased my computer speed by about 10%, that isn't bad, but sure wasn't great.
Cons
Spyware infested, spelling and grammatical errors in the help faq and program, making it sort of hard to understand. Very small speed boost, nearly featureless other than it's ram freeing. All the other features, the average computer user could perform. <p>2 stars well deserved.
