Sometimes there are instances where the stock uninstaller for Windows just isn't enough: Revo Uninstaller is a deep cleaning uninstallation utility that does more than just remove a program from the surface.
Once you open the program, you'll see a ribbon-like menu with a couple of options. Programs can be listed via icons or in list form with details that include installation dates, file sizes, version number, uninstall strings, and more. To uninstall a program, select one or more installed applications and choose either "Uninstall" or "Quick Uninstall."
The main difference between the two options is that the regular Uninstall mode lets you opt out of removing specific leftover files; but other than that, both are relatively the same. Unlike the built-in Windows Add/Remove function, we found Revo's ability to queue up multiple uninstallations to be really useful. This becomes especially useful when doing some spring cleaning on your PC; the default Windows uninstaller forces users to always return to the Add/Remove menu to manually trigger each individual uninstallation.
As with the free version, Revo Uninstaller Pro does a fantastic job of performing extended scans on your system to remove leftover files. Though there are three scanning mode tiers, we just generally recommend sticking with either Moderate or Advanced; if you're using a deep uninstaller, you might as well get the most out of it. One of my absolute favorites. Has got me out of more trouble than I care to remember. Very easy to use. The free version is quite good, but this is better. Besides, with software like this. they deserve to get paid.
Uninstalls practically everything. But be careful you don't uminstall more than you should.Cons

"Not quite as good as it sound"

It cerainly does a great job of uninsalling the application, and then searching for leftover data in the Registry and on your HDD.

The paid version seems more sluggish than the free version.
When it displays the list of apps that it can uninstall it misses a lot. For example, I just checked and checked only applications beginning with the letter "A"--it missed five applications; including Adobe Flash Player.
A major annoyance (for me) is their draconian license agreement. Once you have used up your allocated number of installs it won't install again. I reformat my HDD frequently, necessitating several fresh installs. It's annoying when it announces that you have installed it too often and offers to sell you another license!
Rather than revert to the free version of Revo, I decided to try the free IOBit Uninstaller. It certainly seems to find ALL the applications on my HDD. It hasn't caused any problems, and it seems to clean up the Registry etc. However, there is no easy way for me to check this.Summary
My normal practice is to use the free version (or trial version) and then buy the paid version--even if the free version doesn't expire. I like to support the developers when I can. However, in this case I quite regred paying for the full version.
My advice: If you like the Revo product, stay with the free version--or consider trying out IOBit Unistaller. -

Summary
After using a free portable and desktop version for about a year, I decided to upgrade to Pro. At the time, I got it for under $20 and felt I would like to try it out. Although there's an array of themes, most of it doesn't really look right or has a 'cheap' feel to it (font and background color). I would give this a 7.5/10 rating for performance and how it's cleaning. Your Uninstaller on the other hand is more intuitive and the tool cleans much deeper, but I didn't want to pay $40 for an uninstaller :(

I can't believe it's free! I like all the options, although I use the suggested settings 80% of the time.
Cons
The only thing I can think of is that once a program is deleted there is no coming back. So be careful and be sure you want to uninstall that program!
