+ small fingerprint on hard disk drive

- slow rendering
- expensive. there are free viewers like ulister which use the identical Oracle Outside In Technology, for free!

I think they hit the nail on the head. the application's IE integration reminds you of how many days you have left in your trial before running - what a wonderful feature. It locks up ie8. I can't use this software with my web based lit support app axcelerate even with axcelerate's integration. do not want.

Seems to be able to view many types of files.
Cons
Couldn't open the first file I wanted to look at. Keeps bugging you to get the paid version and telling you how much longer you can try it out.
Summary
Not sure this is worth the effort if you already have ways of opening most files. It also seems to want to take over opening files which I can already open with other programs.

I only downloaded it to open some files and it did it perfectly. It even allowed me print.
Cons
The con is that you can't copy pictures from the file you're viewing, only the text.
Summary
It's a good program, fast and efficient.

Nothing, its horrible, it wasted one hour of my life, made me very nervours and broke my computer

It took control of my computer, I could do nothing at all.
Summary
Once I uninstalled it, everything went back to normal. I'd stay away.

The price of $49
Summary
I have used this product since 1995 when it was owned/marketed by INSO. I think it is Version 4 and I have been grateful to have used it all these years. It has saved me a lot of hassles and money. I am trying Version 10 for a few days and so far it has been better than I thought.

Used earlier versions of QuickView and liked it. But this new version took forever to load, wouldn't open files I needed, and within a few days ended up repeatedly locking up my system (a fresh install of XP SP3), requiring a reset/cold boot.

Pros
-Have been using Quick view plus since version 6.
(I have tried others like Enteractive's "File Viewer"
but still like QVP the best).
- From Version 6, I went to Version 8.0
- Now purchasing Version 10.
-I can't say that I have (personally) found any file it could NOT open.
- friends give me their old files to "open" for them; for the Apps they lost their installation discs or CD's to.
Cons
- I used the download option when I bought
Version 8.0. Had some issues with the downloaded
EXE not running setup (it would crash, like when a download was not quite completed).
- I am opting for the CD this time.
- one, they'll have my name/address on file as a registered buyer/user.
- two, I'll have a backup CD, "when" my hard drive eventually dies. [It's never "if" it dies, but "when".
All mechanical and/or electro-mechanical things eventually bite the dust]
