Publisher's Description
From Macroplant:
Pod Photo Transfer is professional image recovery image software that lets you easily transfer pictures from any iPod or iPhone back to your computer.
Every picture on an iPod or iPhone is typically saved in 4 to 6 different formats. The standard format is 320x240. This is the output to the iPod's display. While this format is easy for programs to decode, it is much smaller than other image formats available on iPods. Using propreity algorithms, Pod Photo Transfer decodes the iPod's TV-output images. These images are encrypted on the iPod, but have a native resolution of up to 720x480 or 75% more pixels. With image previews and automatic transfer features you can save images individually or rapidly transfer all of your images back to your computer while keeping them in their original picture album groups. Pod Photo Transfer is also able to determine the original date that images were taken and saves this time stamp in the picture file name.

"Complete Failure"
Version: Pod Photo Transfer 3.30
Pros
Light weight size, fast download from CNet
Cons
Installs fine but errors on first launch; does not find your i-device, doesn't do anything for that matter. Completely worthless program and definitely not worth the download. Just pay the $20 - $25 for a program that actually works and does what they say it'll do.
Summary
Needs removed from CNet

"Are you kidding me? Doesn't work....at all."
Version: Pod Photo Transfer 3.30
Pros
Fast download.
Cons
Everything. Where is the program? I can't even locate it. Usually when you DL a program, after installation, it automatically pops up as a whole or at least there's a shortcut on the desktop for it.
Summary
Usually when you DL a program, after installation, it automatically pops up as a whole or at least there's a shortcut for it on the desktop. I'm not the most computer literate, but I'm computer literate enough to know that this doesn't do what it says it's suppose to. Well, I wouldn't know. I'd actually have to find the damn program to even attempt to use it.

"program did not work on install. waste of time..."

"not version 3.30"
Version: Pod Photo Transfer 3.30
Pros
The number of pros is: none
Cons
The program does not work.
Summary
The program does not work, but worst of all it seems that CNET does not check whether the promised version is installed indeed. It keeps on offering version 3.30, but version 3.10 is downloaded. And then CNET tells me again that 3.30 is ready for download...
Worthless and annoying.
CNET: look after your offerings! -
