AudibleManager is a simple way for users of Audible, an online audio bookstore, to organize their purchased books, podcasts, and other media. The program works just fine, although people who already use programs like iTunes to manage their Audible downloads will find that the AudibleManager doesn't offer anything particularly useful.

The program's interface is plain and intuitive, and it's quite easy to use. Users simply import media that they've downloaded from Audible and then use the program to transfer the files to a variety of portable devices. The program also functions as an audio player and CD burner, allowing users to listen to Audible content on their computers or burn the files to CDs. Overall, we thought that the program worked fine, but we didn't find any compelling reason that a user might want to switch from another media manager to this one. We've been using Audible with iTunes for years and don't have any complaints, and AudibleManager doesn't look like it would be much of an improvement. If the program allowed users to access Audible and make purchases from within the interface instead of using a browser window we might be more impressed, but that's not the case. The program doesn't have a Help file per se, but it does link to a list of Audible's FAQs.

To start using AudibleManager, follow these steps:

Download and install AudibleManager on your computer.
Open the program and click on “My Online Library” in the top right corner.
Log in with your account details.
Find the audiobook you want to download and click the "Download" button.
A prompt will ask you to open the file with AudibleManager. Click "OK."
The audiobook will download and appear in AudibleManager ready for you to enjoy.

AudibleManager is similar to other software like iTunes, but it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It helps you manage and enjoy your Audible audiobooks easily on your favorite devices.Version 5.5.0.5 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

AudibleManager is free. The program installs a desktop icon without asking but uninstalls cleanly. We recommend this program with reservations; there's nothing functionally wrong with it, but it certainly doesn't offer any unique features.

There is nothing this product does that I need it to do. I purchased an audiobook through Amazon and this app was supposed to be able to download it, but it did not.
Cons
This product is simply a waste of space. I'm using a PC, and having purchased an audiobook digitally, I wanted to download it to my PC, but it did not have that function despite on website claiming it was capable of this if you downloaded this app and iTunes, which I did. Next time, just download books directly from iTunes and don't worry about the hassle with this piece of junk.

Pros
Manages my downloads of recorded books from Audible. Not an iTunes user, so this tool works fine for the purpose.

It does what it's name says it does, and the price is right (free!). Manages my downloads from my subscription account at Audible.com, and seamlessly transfers new material to my Creative Zen. Very satisfied.

When it works it is a breeze and keeps all your purchase history

each account only allows 1 email address associated with it If you have 2 devices connected then non work with no correct error messages How the download manager and the Audible Manager working together is not well designed as a single experience.

It's better than a simple drag and drop from the download manager because of the library function but the app is large and lacks some standard conveniences.
