PinNotes is a simple, but effective sticky note program. Allowing full control and rich text support, each sticky note that is generated can be saved, customized (including transparency, window position) and re-opened when the program is opened again. Colour schemes are available, along with extra options, such as Always on Top (for each individual note window), an Editing Panel, Position locking and WinShade mode.

Suprisingly inadequate

Pros
Rich function set, including the ability to pin images to the desktop, something that no other electronic post-it-type product can do, as far as I have been able to find.
Cons
It is not obvious how to save notes one has created. Eventually I figured out how to save them one by one. "Save All.." on the main menu does not work. Then there is apparently no way to have one's notes reappear automatically when one next fires up one's computer; they have to be loaded, one by one, each time. What were these developers thinking?! Furthermore, the support pages on the Web don't appear to have been maintained for years and are woefully incomplete in terms of FAQs. The support/download information does not show any supported versions of Windows newer than XP. Maybe that's why some features don't work on my Windows 7 system. The developer seems to have pretty much abandoned this product.
Summary
Sadly, a failed product, useful only because nobody else seems to have thought to include an image capability in their post-its.
Get stickynotes on your Windows screen.

I needed a sticky note application which i can use as a reminder on the current web screen.It works as expected.
Wouldn't install... I deleted setup file.
