Partition Logic wouldn't work on my 12 year old pc that barely met the minimum system specs
Summary
When the software failed to run I posted my problem to the general forum and less that an hour later the programmer posted a response. Within two hours of that the programmer had linked me to downloads of debugging software. When that also didn't work he then built another version of the software to try. It was only after my system had failed to run five versions of the software that he conceded that he didn't have any other ideas to solve the problem.

I would highly recommend this software to anyone. Not only is it free and works on a great range of systems but if it doesn't work, great personal customer support is free, rapid and polite. -

Can't say, but don't take too much notice of some of the other reviews here. They're clearly trying to run it from Windows, when you're actually supposed to boot the machine from the CD!!!
Cons
I'm sure this is fine, but it wouldn't recognise the disks in my Dell Precision M4300 - roughly a two year old laptop, so not exactly bleeding edge in terms of drivers etc. (0.69 & 0.7 pre release tested)

The product doesn't even get past the welcome screen...locks up laptop completely!
Summary
I was looking for a free disk management tool and finally found one...that doesn't work! I don't know what the issue is, but there's nothing wrong with either of my laptops or my desktop. Partition Logic doesn't work on ANY of my machines! When I try to run it on my XP machine, it doesn't get past the "Detecting PS/2 mouse..." message...I'm sorely disappointed in this product.
...and to all of those who keep harping about people not knowing how to use it, it seems everyone on here who has had issues folllowed the instructions precisely! I know I did. I took the .iso and made an image on CD and boot from that image. Does not work!!!

"Doesn't Resize NTFS Partitions!"

I connected my new drive with a USB connector, booted with the CD, and did a disk copy to the new drive. No problem at all, but...
Cons
afterwards it wouldn't allow me to resize the partition to take advantage of the larger hard drive. It did allow me to make the extra space a 2nd partition/drive, but not what I want. Still looking for a free program to resize NTFS partition.

Tried several times to get this program to work - even uploading the latest direct dowload from their website

Booting up using the .ISO file results in their equivalent of BSD with lots of 'failed to recognise' messages! It would be helpful to have a txt file alongside the iso install file to assist - especially with troubleshooting answers to overcome the problems!

"Froze on booting to Laptop"

Cons
Software failed to complete loading on my laptop. I made several boot attempts all unsuccessful. Software froze on detecting the drive.
