From MSD Soft :MSD Organizer Freeware is a complete and easy to use personal and professional information manager with calendar, alarms, tasks, contacts, and cards. It also provides the following tools: backup and restore, word processor, spreadsheet, image viewer, calculator, and financial calculator.
Program and program data are installed in the folders recommended for full Windows Vista compatibility, all the records in main databases can contain an Excel compatible spreadsheet, alarms can show the alert message before the event date arrives, and can be reminded at user defined time intervals, and other improvements. In version 9.2 the databases can be permanently encrypted with the program password and Alarms and Tasks can now be synchronized with a Pocket-PC.

Pros: Its like a PDA on your desktop.
Cons: It does not let you use all the feautes unless you buy the pro version
Summary: If I wanted to buy something I would not have looked in the free section. If your looking for a part of a program here it is. Don't waste your time

"Just needs a few features to make it useful for me"
Pros: The software seemed versitile and configuarble. Lots of fields to input different information
Cons: The primary drawback for me was that there was no apparent way to track individual conversations with contacts.
Summary: Looks good if what you're looking for is a very configurable address book that can launch applications.
