This simple application lets you know if the Caps, Num, and Scroll locks are engaged without looking at your keyboard. KeyState is a small executable that adds a small panel with three icons, one for each lock, to your system tray. When a lock is in use, its icon is blue; when it's not, the icon is black. You can add a similar panel to your desktop that stays on top of other applications, and you can apply three levels of transparency to it. This program offers nothing more. No help file is included, but one isn't necessary. Should you have a frequent need to know the status of these three keys and dislike referring to the keyboard, this is the tool for you regardless of your skill level.Publisher's description

Summary: I needed a piece of software exactly like this for my new netbook, which lacks any indicator lights.
