JScreenFix is a Java applet and Java Web start application that helps re-energize stuck pixels and remove burn-in on LCD and plasma screens by randomly switching on and off red, green and blue colour cells very rapidly.
Unlike other solutions, JScreenFix works on each colour cell individually in an un-coordinated fashion which means it is less stressful on the screen's power circuitry and far less likely to cause photosensitive epilepsy. JScreenFix does not require installation and will run on Windows, Linux and Mac computers.

link for download is broken. i got the copy from another place, it asks for money when you locate the dead pixel and hit "fix"
Summary
i wouldn't suggest it, unless CNET people fix the link and confirm that it actually IS free.

Summary
I just bought a super cheap laptop and fired it up only to find a bright blue pixel. After researching what the heck that meant, I looked for a fix. I tried the massage but it didnt work than I found this program...is it a program? I just had to let it run. Anyway, I set up my laptop with the jscreenfix running while I watched CSI, I checked on it periodically with a black image I downloaded and it would get lighter and lighter and this annoying pixel was super bright blue against a black background. So at about 44 minutes of the program running it was totally fixed! I let it run for the rest of the hour just to be sure. THANKS JSCREENFIX!

Got daughter a new LCD Samsung monitor and when reviewing prior to purchase saw this download mentioned. So when I saw a green stuck pixel in middle of screen, I ran this program. Came back twenty minutes later and it had gone.
Cons
None for me.

Pros: Free; works eventually. Image persistence fades to some extent with each use. However, the length of time it takes to work depends on how long the stuck pixel and/or image persistence on LCD monitors (especially larger ones) has been a problem/in existence.
Cons
Cons: No real cons. The key is to take care of the problem when first noticed. Best to physically turn the monitor off so it is not backlit when computer is not in use.

I have 2 stuck pixels. One is red and the other is blue and they are very obvious with their positioning. This program did not help me. Waste of time!
