works better with windows xp, having trouble with windows 7 freezes during down load and must cancel download and restart sometime 2-3 times to get to work. my other system (windows xp) had no trouble with

Great for downloading large program files,eg, Windows 7 upgrade.

When you try to download a movie or video, it downloads,jpegs,html pages,and just about everything you don't want except the video.

I struggled with this software overall, and eventually uninstalled it and put it into a folder I call the "DEFUNCT PROGRAM FOLDER"

Summary
Very good product but I had to stop using it as youtube changed its whatsasomething and now it has stopped downloading you tube videos and the author has not updated the software to match new youtube. I preferred this over youtube downloader as it can resume interrupted downloads but now I have to go back. The forum is barren and no one approves members anymore and I cant even let them know that they need to update this.
Update: This damn software has corrupted my firefox download features. I have unistalled this software but firefox still goes to the westbyte site whenever I have to download something, i have to copy the url to internet explorer or use save as. Damned annoying.
